Too often, a transmission problem gets treated as a rebuild-or-replace situation before anyone has actually opened it up. One customer was quoted over $2,500 by his regular mechanic for a full rebuild on his Buick — we found a simple electrical problem instead and saved him roughly $2,300. Another customer was told outright that a new transmission was needed, only to learn the existing one could be properly repaired.

When a transmission genuinely needs rebuilding, we do that work too — including cases where the internal gears have been chipped and destroyed and the transmission has been sitting unused for a long stretch. We've brought vehicles back from that condition, handling the rebuild along with whatever else surfaces during the process, like a dead battery, low tires, or a suspension issue.
